WorshipGod East will take place July 31-Aug 3 at Highview Baptist Church East in Louisville, KY. We’ve been greatly encouraged by the warm welcome we’ve received from Lange Patrick and the Highview East staff and can’t wait to host the conference there.

Here’s the breakdown of main session speakers:

Craig Cabaniss will be speaking on Faithful to Receive. Before we think about worshiping God in any sense, we need to recognize our dependence on and need for God’s grace in the gospel. Worship is God’s idea and initiative, not ours.

Kevin DeYoung will address Faithful to Proclaim. Our primary focus when we gather is not simply to express our emotions and responses, but to hear God’s Word and the gospel proclaimed.

Jared Mellinger, senior pastor of Covenant Fellowship Church, will be speaking on Faithful to Serve. He’ll explore what it means to serve our congregation, our team, and our pastor.

Bob Kauflin will be speaking on Faithful to Grow. He’ll be seeking to inspire you to grow in your relationship with God, your theological understanding, and your skills.

Kevin Twit will be addressing the importance of being Faithful to Prepare. That isn’t a reference to planning, but rather to preparing our congregations for suffering, death, and heaven.

Bob Kauflin, Matt Mason, and Devon Kauflin will be leading us in song. We’re grateful to welcome back Mike Cosper and a group from Sojourn Church, who blessed WorshipGod11 attendees with their gospel-centeredness, rootsy sound, and commitment to God’s Word.

The seminar presenters this year at WorshipGod East include Don Whitney, Mike Cosper, Kevin Twit, Patrick Anderson, Sheri Gould, Matt Mason, Ken Boer, and more. And if the conference isn’t enough for you, you can attend pre-conference intensives on Wednesday (2-5:30pm) for basic sound, contemporary piano, essential guitar skills, and choir. Space is limited, so be sure to sign up early!
