At PreSonus, we believe in innovation that removes barriers and creates solutions that inspire everyone to reach their creative goals. Our passion for audio and music is celebrated through our commitment to our customers and our employees. From home to studio to stage, PreSonus is there.
And we've been there since 1995, when Jim Odom and Brian Smith founded PreSonus on the principle of designing innovative audio products that provide professional sound quality and features without sacrificing affordability. For 25 years, we've built innovative tools for musicians, content creators, producers, and audio engineers. Today, PreSonus is a leading designer and manufacturer of both recording and live-sound hardware and software solutions that solve real-world problems for real working creatives.
We pride ourselves on our ability to remove barriers.
The barrier between live sound and recording, the barrier between inspirational spark and a mastered production; the barrier between aged whiskey taste and a lite beer budget. Our StudioLive mixers let you effortlessly transition from mixing a large live sound production to controlling Studio One while recording a whopping 64 tracks of audio. Studio One is the only DAW that lets you compose, mix, produce, master, and release to Soundcloud without ever opening another application. Every audio interface we make comes with Studio One, so you have the essential tools you need to get recording and producing straight out of the box.
From concept to completion and wherever the sound takes you— We want you to create without limits.
We offer solutions that grow with you—and adapt to your changing needs.
Regardless of which stage you’re at in your sonic adventures, PreSonus offers tools that will help you achieve your creative vision. From your first audio interface to your latest world tour; from the headphones you listen to in the studio to the line arrays bringing the thunder at your favorite sporting event; from your first lead sheet in marching band to your first full-length, mastered album—PreSonus is with you every step of the way with the right tools, tips, and tutorials to make your goals a reality. Musicians, audio engineers, educators, podcasters, worship leaders, livestreamers, content creators and producers—PreSonus is here to help, wherever sound takes you.
PreSonus employees are PreSonus customers.
From sales to tech support, logistics to marketing, PreSonus is a company of music-loving sound enthusiasts. It’s not uncommon to see a product manager spend his lunch hour practicing his saxophone through the windows of River City Studios. Or to hear our SVP of Global Sales, Rick Naqvi, pick up a guitar mid-meeting to collect his thoughts. Our engineers created a robust listening recommendation database over a weekend, just to share their favorite jams and discover new bands. Tech support is bursting with producers, DJs, and multi-instrumentalists. Our founder has a gold record hanging in his office. And with easily more than a millenium of combined audio engineering experience among our employees, it’s no wonder that our new River City Sessions are recorded and mixed by PreSonus team members from sales, product management, executive staff, UI design, engineering, marketing, and more.
And that’s why we love what we do, and it’s why we think differently about creating gear. Our passion for sound is the foundation of what we do. We aim to innovate. We strive to disrupt old ways of thinking with something better. In our 25 years, we have created or invented over forty first-to-market products, features, and innovations to solve real-world problems for our customers.
It’s a wonderful place to work—and that employee discount doesn’t hurt, either. 25 years later, Jim and Brian (and Rick!) are still here, and so is their guiding principle.
