Wired is Tired
You're mixing a live show with an old-skool mixer—make that any reasonably affordable mixer other than PreSonus StudioLive™—and you need to check the sound underneath the balcony—or in the balcony, for that matter. Or you're sound-checking and want to hear the stage monitors for yourself. Or the venue's layout makes it impossible to place the front-of-console where you can accurately hear the mix.

Set Yourself Free!
You can say goodbye to these problems immediately if you use a StudioLive mixer and an Apple iPad®! With PreSonus StudioLive Remote 1. 2 for iPad, you have complete, real-time, wireless remote control over Virtual StudioLive for Mac® and Windows®, which in turn offers real-time control over the StudioLive mixer. As long as you have a wireless connection between your iPad and computer, you are in control of the console. You are free—and so is StudioLive Remote! StudioLive Remote provides wireless remote control from up to 10 iPads at once! That's something even $20,000 digital mixers can't currently do. And with new version 1.2, you can set permissions in Virtual StudioLive to ensure that any given iPad on the network can control just an aux send or the whole mix—or is locked out entirely. Best of all, it’s available right now—not “coming someday soon.”

Set the Whole Band Free!
Want to let the musicians mix their own monitors? In the past, you had to spend a small fortune on one of those fancy high-end "Model A" headphone-distribution systems. No more! Now each band member can control their own StudioLive aux mix with an iPad—or they can use new PreSonus QMix™ for iPhone® and iPod touch®. You can use up to 10 iPads, iPhones, and iPod touches at once—plenty for the band members and the engineers.
