PreSonus Blog

[This just in from Jason Andreasen, Executive Director of Baton Rouge Gallery!]

Hey PreSonus! I just wanted to say thank you for your support of Baton Rouge Gallery and its Movies & Music on the Lawn series. This past weekend we were, as you know, pleased to screen “The Man Who Laughs” with an original score from Matsy. The weather was perfect and we had an audience of over 400 on hand for the event!

We’ve gotten such wonderful feedback at the gallery about the event. I know we had a number of people use the free passes, so I’m assuming that a number of PreSonus staff/clients were able to come and enjoy the evening.

Again, on behalf of the artists, staff and Board of Directors at BRG, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to you and everyone at PreSonus for the generous support. I hope that you are as proud of the partnership as we are. I’ve attached some photos of the event.

Thank you!

Jason Andreasen
Executive Director

I bet you know one of those bassists who flat-out refuses to play out of anything other than an 8×10 refrigerator of a bass cab from 1980. We all know that guy. Think about how trashed the tolex is on that thing. Sure, the cabinet sounds great and all, but after 34 years of getting tossed in and out of vans, it looks more or less like the product of an over-ambitious underachiever who got a C- in high school wood shop. Props to the guy for sticking to his guns, but you’re a little past that now, for the same reason you no longer wear jeans with holes in ‘em, right? Besides, think of the loss in re-sale value.

Enter the StudioLive Dust Cover AI. Until September 30, 2014, these handsome devils are free with purchase of any pair of StudioLive AI Loudspeakers, so you can protect your investment without investing in your investment protector. Keep your StudioLive dry and dust-free while locking in that new-speaker scent for as long as possible. Purchased separately, these covers range in price from $119.95 to $139.95.  Click to get the Free Speaker Cover Rebate Form.

Note that we’ve got the dev team hard at work at offering remote zipper control of StudioLive Dust Cover AI via VSL Remote. This feature is planned for a 2015 release via a Dust Cover Firmware Update*.

This offer is available world-wide. If you’re in the US, click here to find a dealer. Folks outside the US can find a dealer by clicking here.

When Tiny Frog Media is involved, the hits can’t/won’t stop. Here, Greg takes a close look at the entire line of StudioLive AI PA Loudspeakers. His talk-through is pretty handy if you’re trying to decide exactly which StudioLive AI PA speaker is right for you and your applications. While he addresses high-tech matters such as power, DSP, and software integration, he also addresses some of the equally-enthralling low-tech features offered by these speakers, including threaded pole-mount adapters, dollies, and dust jackets. Give a look-see.

Here, he discusses his experience with the StudioLive AI mixers, and why they’re the right fit for small-to-medium sized churches.

Furthermore, he takes a look at the StudioLive AI speakers, and how they make for the best possible live performances—and how  Capture 2,  Studio One, and Nimbit make for effortless recording, editing and online distribution of performances and services.
