That is, one track contains the raw mic siganl via preamp S/PDIF, and another track contains the siganl I am monitoring. For example, I monitor with compression when playing acoustic guitar. I record this just in case I am unable to reproduce the magic from the raw siganl. Most recently, however, I was able to reproduce it satisfactorily.
