Crossgrade!

November 10,2011

Crossgrade offers are weird things. From the perspective of someone who makes and sells software for a living I can’t really make up my mind whether they are just giving people a big discount or whether they are a good way of genuinely rewarding people who have gone out and invested in our industry. Either way, from your point of view as a user, they are often a hell of a good deal. So if you are reading this and are still using a DAW other than Studio One, or (more likely) know someone else who is, check out the Crossgrade offer at the bottom of the online store page. It’s pretty sweet.

And yeah, I know this might sound like me using my blog as a some kind of marketing tool, which I really hate doing, but I didn’t even know about this deal until this morning – and I work here; so I guess a lot of other people might have missed seeing it too :-)

  1. You are in reason for reality the perfectly web marketer. The website launching pace will be amazing. It seems that you’re up to any special strategy. Additionally, The particular contents are usually must-see. you’ve performed a wonderful procedure in this topic!

  2. Hi, I have a very old Cubase SX2, is it possible to cross-grade?
Here in Italy they just ask for a proof of purchase to sell it to me.
is it enough to have studio one working or do I need any further approval from Presonus? thank you

  3. Called the pro audio dept at Guitar Center in Fayetteville ga yesterday
And the tech-salea guy on the line said I can not buy a cross grade to go from Logic Pro 9 to buy Presonus Studio One Pro (I told him it said so on The Presonus website) he insisted it was not possible because Logic was a different company. He seemed untrained and I suggested he read the website himself. So much for trained sales staff. Sad. He kept wanting to talk about compatibility and told me to just order the full version and to skip the idea of doing a cross grade. I have up and hung up. So am I nuts ?

  4. After I originally left a comment I seem to have clicked the -Notify me when new
comments are added- checkbox and now each time a comment is added
I recieve four emails with the same comment. There has to be a way you can
remove me from that service? Many thanks!

  5. also wondering where to find the magic number on my fl studio and also disabled chap im a carer for may be interested after 3 months of trying to work out logic pro 9 we learnt more about pro studo demo version in a day and as I have to teach him how to use it so far im very impressed

  6. I sent a request e-mail w/ attached sonar reciept over ten days ago ;.. sent again yesterday … Apparently PS is more that a litte conflicted about giving such a discount … Dragging heels on a response for a requested coupon sets a great precedent for a prosepective new client to ponder ; … Maybe if this is how my support request will be dealt with , I’m better off sticking with my present DAW ; .. Maybe the grass isn’t any greener !!! LOL

  7. Would like to know how, and how much it would cost for me to crossgrade from SONAR Professional X1 to the roughly equivalent version of Studio One 2.

Thank you so much. Looks like a very nice product with great ease of use and workflow. (and mix of intrinsic features, virtual instruments, etc.)

    • I have the same question..I’m looking at my Cuebase Studio 4 disk and original disk sleeve and don’t see the upc code anywhere. I’d like to take advantage of the cross-offer, but can’t see how.

      Please advise.

    • That’s weird, I just tried it and it’s working for me. We did have some DNS server issues yesterday that might have screwed it up temporarily, please try again now.

  8. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I just switched from Pro Tools, but have already bought Studio One Pro v2 and didn’t know about the crossgrade. Hopefully the fine folks at Presonus will be able to help….
