POD exploded onto the national music scene in 1998 with their debut album, The Fundamental Elements of Southtown. They have since delivered chart topping hits like Alive, Youth of a Nation and most recently, Goodbye for Now, reaching number one spots on MTVs Total Request Live, as well as selling out concert venues worldwide.

For the past few years, the band has depended on PreSonus preamps in the studio and on the road. PreSonus recently caught up with PODs Traa, at his studio in San Diego to chat about his experience with the new Digimax FS, 8 channel preamp:

"The Digimax FS is an amazing unit. I'm really impressed with PreSonus' ability to create a simple and inexpensive piece. The sound quality and attention to detail is something that places it far and above more expensive units out there. The preamps sound great and are perfect for recording drums. Setup was easy also; I just plugged it into my Digi 002 and in a moment I had 8 additional, great sounding preamps in my studio. The DigiMax FS Rocks!"
