Colin Arthur Wiebe

Singer / Songwriter Colin Arthur Wiebe uses a Presonus BlueTUBE and a BlueMAX for live solo shows. "That's my live sound when I do showcases. I sing into a Beta 58 through a BlueTUBE which gives my voice added richness and tube warmth. I use the the BlueMAX compressor for that professional mastered sound that audiences don't usually expect in some venues. They are so portable I can take them in my carry-on".

Colin has grown up with music. He has been writing songs and singing since childhood. Colin won a top spot in the prestigious American Song Festival in the mid-80's and in 1991 Colin joined The Randy Bachman Band (The Guess Who, BTO) Colin has been a loyal part of Randy's team since. Highlights include playing the Orange Bowl, The Governor Generals Award Show for Neil Young's induction. TV and concert appearances in Europe, and playing many Classic Rock shows with the likes of Alice Cooper, 3 Dog Night, The Doobie Brothers, The Little River Band and many more.

Colin released his solo album "Livin'On Dreams" in 1999 which was produced by Randy Bachman. The singles, "Pebble In My Shoe" and "They Grow Up So Fast", were released only in Canada.

Colin recorded most of his new CD, "Big Diamonds" in Nashville TN. and is currently adding 3 new songs to that project. The Randy Bachman Band's 5.1 DVD "Every Song Tells a Story" featuring Colin singing many of the Guess Who hit songs has just been completed.

Colin has the unique charm and charisma that can capture an audience and have them become friends as well as fans. He takes the time to sing and play songs that have a story, a purpose and reflect his own experiences and Christian values.
